Abstract:
An exact position setting device for a stored item storage device of a machine tool is implemented, the exact position setting device comprising: a changer arm driving unit which drives a changer arm for moving a stored item between a storage unit and a stored item exchange position of the machine tool; a manual pulse generator which controls the changer arm; a teaching coordinate memory which receives as inputs and stores design coordinates of the storage unit in batches, provides the stored design coordinates of the storage unit to the manual pulse generator, and updates the design coordinates of the storage unit on the basis of coordinates of the changer arm; and a control unit which compares the design coordinates of the storage unit, which are stored in the teaching coordinate memory, with current coordinates of the changer arm, when the current coordinates of the changer arm are within an offset tolerance range, provides a display signal to the manual pulse generator and simultaneously records a unique number of the storage unit to the teaching coordinate memory, and updates the design coordinates of the storage unit, which are stored in the teaching coordinate memory, on the basis of adjusted coordinates of the storage unit, which are provided from the manual pulse generator. Therefore, when carrying out an exact position teaching operation for a storage unit of a stored item storage device, such as a tool magazine or a pallet magazine, an error caused by an operator's mistake can be eliminated, and a teaching operation for the stored item storage device can be easily carried out at high speed with a small amount of manpower.
