Abstract:

The present invention is provided with a plate that has a higher Young's modulus than that of a midsole and an outsole, and extends to the hindfoot from the midfoot at a position between the top surface of the outsole and the top surface of the midsole. The midsole is provided with: a low-hardness region provided to a region that is the majority of the hindfoot and the majority of the midfoot; and a high-hardness region that is disposed between the Chopart's joint and the rear end of the heel, is provided to at least a portion of a central section and/or a portion of an outer section among an inner section, central section, and outer section resulting from dividing the hindfoot into three equal parts in a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the foot, and has a hardness greater than that of the material forming the low-hardness region. The plate is disposed extending to the front, directly below, and behind the high-hardness region.
