Abstract:
The invention relates to an exercising apparatus comprising a frame which includes, among the elements thereof, two parallel side rails that have guides along which a mobile carriage moves against the resistance of traction springs, some ends of the springs being connected to the mobile carriage and the opposite ends of the springs being connected to a crossmember placed in different stable positions. The apparatus has mobile shoes arranged in different positions along guide rails which are fixed to the side rails of the frame. The mobile shoes constitute the limit of the mobile carriage in different initial positions with variable tension in the springs. The exercising apparatus also has a crossmember which is connected, on the ends thereof, to runners coupled to the guide rails, the crossmember assuming different positions.
