Abstract:
Provided is an exhaust device (4) connected to an engine body (1). The exhaust device (4) is provided with: a plurality of independent exhaust pipes (5), each of which has a circular cross section, and which are connected to exhaust ports (12) of cylinders in the engine body (1); and a mixing pipe (50) which has a circular cross section, is connected to the downstream end of each independent exhaust pipe (5), and into which exhaust gas that has passed through the independent exhaust pipes (5) flows. The independent exhaust pipes (5) are connected to the upstream end of the mixing pipe (50) in such a way that a portion of the internal space in each circular cross section overlaps in a prescribed segment (K1) from the downstream ends of the independent exhaust pipes (5) toward the upstream sides thereof, and such that the overlapping proportion gradually increases from the upstream side toward the downstream side.
