Abstract:
Provided is an exhaust device for a saddle-type vehicle, said exhaust device enabling high strength and improved appearance by optimizing the structure of a protector having a double-layer structure. An exhaust device (30) for a saddle-type vehicle (1), said exhaust device having a muffler (32) exposed to the outside in a vehicle-width direction, and a protector (90) for protecting the muffler (32), wherein the protector (90) is configured from an inner protector (50) made of resin that covers at least a portion of the muffler (32) and an outer protector (70) made of metal that covers at least a portion of the inner protector (50). The outer protector (70) is supported by the muffler (32), and the inner protector (50) is supported by the back side of the outer protector (70). The outer protector (70) is rubber-mounted, using an annular grommet (75), to protector stays (60, 61) that extend outward in the vehicle-width direction from the muffler (32).
