Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel technology that, while using Pt, can realize an exhaust gas purification capability in a low temperature environment and can realize the ability to retain, up to high temperatures, NOx adsorbed at low temperatures. The present invention provides an exhaust gas purification catalyst composition that contains Pt and Sr, wherein the amount of Sr as metal is 0.1 mass% to 9.0 mass% with reference to the mass of the exhaust gas purification catalyst composition.
