Abstract:
Disclosed is an exhaust gas purification catalyst (1) provided with co-included anchor/promoter particles (5), containing: catalyst units (13) containing noble metal particles (8) and anchor particles (9) that act as an anchor material for the noble metal particles (8), supporting said noble metal particles (8); promoter units (14) that are not in contact with the aforementioned noble metal particles (8) and that contain first promoter particles (11) capable of absorbing, storing, and releasing oxygen; and an inclusion material (12) that encloses the catalyst units (13) and the promoter units (14) and that separates the noble metal particles (8) and anchor particles (9) in the catalyst units (13) from the first promoter particles (11) in the promoter units (14). The disclosed exhaust gas purification catalyst (1) is also provided with second promoter particles (6) that are capable of absorbing, storing, and releasing oxygen and are not enclosed in the aforementioned co-included anchor/promoter particles (5) by means of the inclusion material (12).
