Abstract:
Provided is an exhaust gas purification device (1) with which is possible to improve the purification performance of exhaust gas from an engine (70), while also improving the ease of handling the engine (70), such as maintenance. The exhaust gas purification device (1) comprises two gas purification bodies (2, 3) that purify the exhaust gas discharged from the engine (70); inner cases (4, 20) that house the gas purification bodies (2, 3); and outer cases (5, 21) that house the inner cases (4, 20). The outer cases (5, 21) are connected in the direction of movement of the exhaust gas. Adjoining inner cases (4, 20) are inserted one into another to form a double-layer structure. A gap (23) to enable movement is provided between the inner surface of one of the inner cases (4 (or 20)) and the outer surface of the other of the inner cases (20 (or 4)).
