Abstract:
An exhaust gas purification filter (1) for use upon being disposed in an exhaust channel (A) of a gasoline engine (E), the exhaust gas purification filter (1) having a sealing part (11), a skin part (12), and a cell structure (2) provided with partitions (22) and a plurality of cells (21) having a quadrilateral cross-section shape. The porosity P1 of the partitions (22) and the porosity P2 of the skin part (12) are both between 50% and 70% inclusive and satisfy the relationship P1 < P2. The porosity difference ΔP defined by P2-P1 is 20% or below. The outer edge (213) of the cells (21) is rounded at intersecting positions (225) at which the partitions (22) intersect. The curvature radius R at the intersecting positions (225) and the radius r of the hydraulic diameter d of the cells (21) satisfy the relationship 0.2 < R[mm] / r[mm] < 1.
