Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an expander and a wire tensioning device with which a wire tensioning operation can be simply and accurately performed. [Solution] According to one embodiment of the present invention, an expander used when tensioning a wire material is provided. This expander comprises: an operation part having an outer cylinder part, an inner cylinder part that is inserted into the outer cylinder part from one end in the axial direction, a screw shaft that is inserted into the outer cylinder part and the inner cylinder part, and a nut that is fixed to the other end in the axial direction of the inner cylinder part and that threadably engages with the screw shaft; and a drive part having a motor that rotates the screw shaft around the axis thereof to cause the nut to move along the screw shaft.
