Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the field of submarine geotechnical engineering experimentation technology, and in particular relates to an experimentation apparatus for researching a characteristic of an underwater tunnel at the bottom of the seafloor and subject to waves. The apparatus comprises a main control system, a wave generation experimentation system, a rock and soil confining pressure experimentation system, and a water level adjustment experimentation system, wherein a bottom part of the rock and soil confining pressure experimentation system is connected to the water level adjustment experimentation system, a bottom part of the wave generation experimentation system is connected to the rock and soil confining pressure experimentation system, and the wave generation experimentation system, the rock and soil confining pressure experimentation system, and the water level adjustment experimentation system are all electrically linked to the main control system. The present invention can simulate conditions of an underwater tunnel subject to non-linear complex waves using a smaller experimentation apparatus, and can also take into account combined action of waves and the seafloor; also, the present invention can be adjusted for different water levels and different earth pressures, has a comprehensive set of features, and effectively explores the influence of multiple elements on an underwater tunnel.
