Abstract:
An exposure control device (10) for a vehicle-mounted camera (2) is provided with an illuminance level determination unit (11), a plurality of timers (13), a timer operation unit (12), and an exposure level decision unit (15). The illuminance level determination unit determines to which one of a plurality of illuminance levels an external-light illuminance corresponds. Each of the timers (13) is provided in correspondence to each of a plurality of modes of change between a plurality of illuminance levels or between a plurality of exposure levels in the vehicle-mounted camera. The timer operation unit operates each of the plurality of timers in accordance with a variation state in illuminance level. The exposure level decision unit decides an exposure level in the vehicle-mounted camera on the basis of a count state of each of the plurality of timers.
