Abstract:
Provided is a simply-configured extensible mechanism that realizes cost reduction. An extensible mechanism 10 comprises: a shaft 32 and a forward/backward pipe 24, which are provided on the same axis with respect to a reference axis J; a motor 28 for rotating the shaft 32; a base end pipe 20 for holding the forward/backward pipe 24 such that the forward/backward pipe cannot rotate and can freely move forward/backward along the reference axis J; a plurality of rollers 46 provided to the lumen part of the forward/backward pipe 24; and a roller holder 44 that rotates integrally with the shaft 32 and holds the plurality of rollers 46 such that the rollers can freely rotate. The plurality of rollers 46 each abut the inner peripheral surface of the forward/backward pipe 24, and are held by the roller holder 44 such that the central axis of each has an inclination angle θ with respect to the reference axis J. The outer peripheral surfaces of the rollers 46 and/or the inner peripheral surface of the forward/backward pipe 24 is an elastic body, and has been subjected to an anti-slip treatment.
