Abstract:
An external method based on a serving end and an external buffer system for a computing device, and a device implementing said method, comprising: at least a serving end buffer device (S) connected via a high-speed or multi-channel data transmission device (L) to an accelerated computing device (C). L may be of a wired transmission type or a wireless transmission type. S provides C with a relatively high-speed write buffer (R layer, such as RamDisk) and a random read buffer layer (D layer, such as a phase change memory), and buffers files frequently used by the system and programs and frequently read and written files for C, transfers I/Os directed at the C hard drive, and provide computational support to C via a virtual layer (V). When L is of a wired type, L may be an optical fiber, a transmission line above USB 3.0, a CAT5E network cable, or other high speed wired transmission devices. When L is of a wireless type, L may also be a wireless network card supporting the WiGig technology, or a C base or an external device connected to S by means of wireless transmission.
