Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a pharmaceutical agent for treating epilepsy, a pharmaceutical agent for treating an autism spectrum disorder, and/or a pharmaceutical agent for treating an anxiety disorder which have high safety and are easily administered. [Solution] An external preparation containing, as an active ingredient, at least one selected from the group consisting of sirolimus and a sirolimus derivative is easily administered, and has a high level of safety as a therapeutic agent for epilepsy, an autism spectrum disorder, and/or an anxiety disorder. A suitable active ingredient may include, for example, sirolimus, everolimus, temsirolimus, ridaforolimus, and zotarolimus.
