Description:
AN EXTERNAL SYSTEM SUPPLYING THE BATTERY OF TRUCK VEHICLES

Technical Field:

The present invention relates to truck vehicles, especially to a system that externally supplies the battery in the truck vehicles.

State of the Art:

It is known that there are approximately 25 million road vehicles (trucks, tractors, automobiles, trucks, etc.) in Turkey. Among these, especially the trucks are connected to the trailer by getting under the trailers that are used for transportation in large quantities and that do not have front wheels, and they aim to move together with the trailer during the movement. In case of a possible disconnection of the trailer, the truck brakes automatically. With the connection of the trailer, the compressed air applied by the engine-driven air pump of the truck to the brakes is released and the truck begins to move.

As with all other land vehicles, there is a battery in the trucks. A battery is an energy storage device that stores electrical energy as chemical energy and delivers it as electrical energy if needed. The main purpose of the battery, along with starting, lighting and ignition, is to start the vehicle engine. Under normal conditions, the battery charges itself while the vehicle is running. However, the headlights or interior lighting remain on, the car radio and air conditioner, the devices to which the charging sockets are connected, etc. are factors that needs electricity, such as electricity, cause the vehicle's battery to run out quickly. The increase in global warming and the formation of environmental pollution are undesirable situations, especially when fuels such as gasoline and diesel, which are frequently used during the filling of the batteries of the vehicles, cause greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, a renewable and clean energy source is needed to charge the battery. In the patent application numbered US5071164A, a chassis is described for the conventional twin I beam trailer used in five-wheeled logging truck applications, for the same length, lighter, less costly produced truck. In the relevant application, there is no solar panel coupled to the truck, and there is no application for charging the battery.

Consequently, there is a need for a new technology that can overcome the disadvantages mentioned above.

Description of the Invention:

The main purpose of our system, which is the subject of the invention, is to save energy by storing the truck battery with an external energy source. With our invention, the truck battery can be filled faster, and there is no problem in continuous use for electronic devices that are energized by using the battery in the truck.

With our invention, the idle time has been shortened, fuel savings have been achieved, carbon emissions have been reduced, contributing to the nature, the turbo and engine life of the vehicle has been extended, the battery level has been prevented from falling below a certain capacity, and the state of not being recharged has been prevented. One of the most common problems encountered at present, the problem of self-depletion of the battery while the vehicle is not running, has been eliminated.

It is easy to install thanks to the easy fixing of the parts that make up the invention, and the costs are low due to the short assembly time. Moreover, the invention has a solid construction.

Description of the Figures:

This invention is described in more detail by means of sampling only, with reference to the October drawings hereinafter, in these drawings;

Detailed Description of The Invention:

The system subject of the invention consists of a solar panel (1) and an MPPT charge controller (2). The solar panel (1) in our system can easily take the shape of the spoiler (R) on the truck due to the fact that it is made of a flexible material. The MPPT charge controller (2) is connected to the solar panel (1) via cables. Another cable on the MPPT charge controller (2) is connected to the battery. Therefore, the current and voltage values of the electrical energy passing through the MPPT charge controller (2) are adjusted and the electrical energy is stored in the battery with proper supply. The MPPT charge controller (2) in the system is automatically activated/deactivated. When the vehicle engine starts to work, the MPPT charge controller (2) is automatically deactivated when the alternator is activated.
