Abstract:
Provided is an extruded aluminum wire which contains Fe, Cu, Ti, Mn, Mg, Cr, B, Ga, V and Zn and at least one component selected from the group consisting of Ni, Y and Si in a total amount of 0.01% by mass or less, with the remainder comprising Al and unavoidable impurities. In the extruded aluminum wire, in a cross-sectional surface orthogonal to the length direction of the extruded wire, the average crystal grain diameter measured by electron backscatter diffraction is 15 to 50 μm in each of a central measurement region including a central point of the cross-sectional surface and a peripheral measurement region contacting with the outer periphery of the cross-sectional surface.
