Abstract:
An extruded perforated aluminum alloy tube for heat exchangers, said extruded perforated aluminum alloy tube being characterized by being formed from an aluminum alloy which contains from 0.60% by mass to 1.80% by mass of Mn and from 0.20% by mass to 0.70% by mass of Si, with the balance being made up of Al and unavoidable impurities, wherein the ratio of the Mn content to the Si content, namely Mn/Si is from 2.6 to 4.0, and being also characterized in that the strength change by a three-minute heating test at 600°C ± 10°C ((tensile strength (A) of aluminum alloy after heating test) – (tensile strength (B) of aluminum alloy before heating test)) is -5 MPa or more. Consequently, the present invention is able to provide: an extruded perforated aluminum alloy tube for heat exchangers, said extruded perforated aluminum alloy tube having excellent extrusion properties, while exhibiting high strength after brazing; and a method for producing this extruded perforated aluminum alloy tube for heat exchangers.
