Abstract:
The present invention relates to an eye drop comprising recoflavone for treatment of xerophthalmia. Specifically, the present invention relates to an eye drop composition wherein a main ingredient is contained at a certain concentration or higher to allow the active ingredient recoflavone to sufficiently penetrate the cornea in vivo and exhibit effective pharmaceutical effects and at least one polyoxyethylene castor oil derivative or poloxamer is contained as a penetration enhancer to maximally alleviate the symptom of xerophthalmia.
