Abstract:
An eyeball tracking system for a near-eye display apparatus, and a near-eye display apparatus. The eyeball tracking system comprises a processor (1) for outputting a video signal; a control analysis device (2), the control analysis device being used for obtaining, according to the video signal and a preset IR image signal, a multi-color image signal that comprises an IR image signal and for obtaining an LED synchronization signal and a corresponding subfield display signal, and being used for generating an acquisition signal when the LED synchronization signal and the subfield display signal respectively correspond to the IR image signal and for obtaining human eye fixation point information according to an eyeball image acquired by an IR camera according to the acquisition signal; an LED illumination device (3) for lighting up a corresponding LED according to the LED synchronization signal and enabling emergent light rays of the LED to be incident to a DMD display device (4), the LED illumination device (3) comprising an IR LED arranged inside an optical machine; and the DMD display device (4), the DMD display device being used for reflecting, according to the subfield display signal, the light rays into a lens to form an image of a corresponding color and for projecting the image to human eyes through an optical waveguide lens. The size and cost of the whole machine can be reduced.
