Abstract:
In an eyelash curler 100 in which an elastic member 30 mounted to a frame 20 clamps lashes as the frame 20 is closed upon closing of a handle 10, the elastic member 30 is supported by a supporting member 64 constituting a part of the frame 20, and a planar heating element 32 is provided to the supporting member 64 on the elastic member-side surface thereof. The planar heating element 32 is provided so as to come into abutment with one of the side walls of the elastic member 30. The planar heating element 32 is provided so as to come into abutment with both side walls of the elastic member 30 in a clamping manner. The supporting member 64 supports the elastic member 30 in such a manner as to have a tip thereof penetrating into the elastic member 30, and also has the planar heating element 32 mounted to the tip. This eyelash curler 100 makes it possible to avoid blocking the view of the eye at a portion where the lashes are being clamped.
