Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fabric and clothing for preventing mosquito bites and to a method of manufacturing same, wherein 65‑95 wt% of high-twist polyester yarn with fineness of 50‑200 denier and twist number of 1000‑3000 TPM, 5‑30 wt% of high-twist rayon yarn with fineness of 50‑100 denier and twist number of 1000‑1500 TPM, and 1-5wt% metal blended yarn including silver, copper or bioceramic of 50‑150 denier are manufactured at the respective density of 100‑320 threads/inch for warp and weft, the metal blended yarn is manufactured by arranging and weaving at the rate of 1 thread per 20‑50 threads of filament yarn to reach 1‑5 wt% with respect to the total weight, to provide a fabric for preventing mosquito bites. The fabric is used to manufacture clothes, and the clothes can be used for a long period unless they wear out and show holes, and comfort is always maintained so that people involved in nighttime activities are not bitten by mosquitoes during the summer season, and thus diseases inflicted by mosquito vectors may be prevented. Not only does this contribute to promoting the health of human race, but because it is not necessary to use other topical or spray medications or mosquito repellent sticks, the clothes for preventing mosquito bites may be obtained easily without anything else needing to be prepared.
