Abstract:
A fabric having a concave and convex surface which comprises twist yarns obtained by twisting the yarns being comprised of fibers having an axial unevenness with thick and thin portions of a U % of ± 3 % or more, as measured by means of an Uster unevenness measuring device, and having a shrinkage percentage in boiling water of 5 to 15 % , so as to impart a twist multiplier of 250 or more thereto, characterized in that the fabric has a cover factor (K) which is 55 to 85 % of the maximum cover factor (K¿m?) of the fabric and has concave and convex portions having a shape formed by squeezing or the like. The concave and convex portions are characteristic in that they are irregular, are each individual and appear to be formed naturally.
