Abstract:
Provided is a fabric piece folding device that can accurately fold fabric pieces and is such that the amount of thrusting of a folding plate is easily changed. The present invention is provided with: at least two conveyers (12, 13) that convey a fabric piece (Y); a folding device (32) that folds the fabric piece (Y) at the connection section of the two conveyers (12, 13); and a control device (50) that controls the operation of the folding device (32). The folding device (32) is provided with: a folding plate (32a); and an actuator (32c) that can control the amount of operation causing the advancement/retraction of the folding plate (32a) in the direction with respect to the connection section of the two conveyers (12, 13). The control device (50) changes the amount of thrusting of the folding plate (32a) by changing the amount of operation of the actuator (32c). It is possible for the amount of thrusting of the folding plate (32a) to be an amount appropriate for the fabric piece (Y), and so it is possible to accurately fold the fabric piece (Y).
