Abstract:
[Problem] To allow the process of reflecting, in the face-authentication-device side, an update (addition, deletion, change, etc.) to face information on the server-device side to be easily performed, and also allow day-to-day face authentication to be performed without a hitch while securely managing face information, which is personal information even when the server device updates the face information on an as-needed basis. [Solution] In response to a power supply of a host device being turned on, a face authentication machine sends a delivery request pertaining to face information to a management server, and in response to the delivery request from the face authentication machine, the management server delivers, to the face authentication machine, face information related to the requesting face authentication machine. In response to the power supply of the host device being turned off, the face authentication machine deletes the face information held at the host device. The face authentication machine performs restart in accordance with a preset schedule.
