Abstract:
A facial expression recognition-based smart VR eyewear, comprising an eyewear frame, VR electronic lenses (4) provided on the eyewear frame and displaying an electronic image, also comprising an electromyography signal collecting unit. A change in a surface electric charge signal of human facial muscles is collected by a surface electromyography sensor (1) and transmitted to a processing unit (7). The processing unit (7) converts an electric signal collected by the surface electromyography sensor (1) into a digital signal. The converted digital signal is matched with expression data in a database and then transmitted to an interaction unit (10) to generate a display signal. The interaction unit (10) transmits the display signal to the external environment or receives a display signal from the external environment and, when the display signal from the external environment is received, transmits the display signal to a display unit (11). The display unit (11) displays a 3D expression image on the VR electronic lenses (4) on the basis of the display signal transmitted by the interaction unit (10). The smart VR eyewear is applicable in an interactive experience between VR users and transmits expressions via images to both users, thus enhancing the thrill of the experience.
