Abstract:
A facial recognition device 10 includes: an acquisition unit 1 for acquiring face image data of a person from imaging devices 51 and 53; a determination unit 2 for determining whether registration data having a degree of coincidence with the face image data that is equal to or more than a threshold is registered in a memory device 60; a prompt unit 3 for prompting a person to input identification information if the determination unit 2 determines that the registration data is not registered in the memory device 60; a receiving unit 4 for receiving the input identification information; a registration-after-receiving-input unit 5 for registering the face image data in the memory device 60 as registration data if the receiving unit 4 receives valid identification information; and a setting unit 6 for setting a threshold used by the determination unit 2 in association with the registration data registered by the registration-after-receiving-input unit 5.
