Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention provides a failure recovery method. The method comprises: a first controller obtaining first topological information, the first topological information comprising topological information of an IP layer, topological information of an optical layer and information of an interlayer link, and the interlayer link being a link between a node of the IP layer and a node of the optical layer; the first controller obtaining failure information, the failure information at least comprising failure information of the optical layer; the first controller determining a service related to the failure information and a service failure path of the service according to the failure information; and the first controller determining a service recovery path of the service failure path according to the first topological information and the failure information, the service recovery path being used for transmitting the service. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the whole-network topological information and the whole-network failure information of an IP-over-Optical network is obtained through the first controller, and the service recovery path is further determined. In this way, the optimal service recovery path can be provided according to the whole-network topology, and the consumed time for failure recovery is short.
