Abstract:
A fall prevention device is provided which can carry out a notification when the load on a base has changed. This fall prevention device (1) is provided with a damper (10) mounted between the ceiling and the upper surface of an object installed on an installation surface, and a pair of base units (30A, 30B) linked to each of the two ends of the damper (10), wherein one of said pair contacts the upper surface of the object and the other contacts the ceiling. Furthermore, the fall prevention device (1) is provided with a shape change unit (110) (the notification unit) which carries out a notification if the bases (30A, 30B) receive a prescribed load.
