Abstract:
A fan (11) and a range hood having same. The fan (11) comprises a deswirler (125) and a spiral casing (12). The spiral casing (12) is provided with an impeller (13) and a motor (30) therein. The spiral casing (12) has an air outlet (123) and an air channel (124) in communication with the air outlet (123). The deswirler (125) is provided at an inner side of the air outlet (123). Optionally, the air channel (124) has a swirling core region (126) configured to allow passage of a swirling core (127) of a swirling airflow generated when the impeller (13) rotates. The deswirler (125) is provided in the swirling core region (126). In the invention, a deswirler (125) is provided inside an air outlet (123), such that when an airflow moves to the air outlet (123) along an air channel (124), a large swirling flow formed by the airflow is blocked and divided by the deswirler (125), thereby shifting the frequency of noise generated by the large swirling flow of the airflow at the air outlet (123) to a higher frequency spectrum, improving the sound properties of the fan.
