Description:

Fantasy Furniture

This invention relates to improvements in devices for human comfort and leisure.

For many people a lack of space in a common living area can result in clustered furniture and an uncomfortable living arrangement. There have been many proposals to refine living space and increase human comfort but these have required common furniture be arranged in a manner suitable for the particular householder. For example, one previous device proposes a sofa and two chairs be moved together to create a lounge spanning a particular room. These proposals have the disadvantage that a large space is used by furniture that serves no other purpose.

These problems are overcome by the present invention, which provides the Fantasy Furniture device comprising five (5) three dimensional shapes which can be arranged to suit the householder in the form of furniture. In one form of the invention, the furniture comprises a three dimensional square, circle, triangle and two oblong beams. These objects are developed specifically to promote comfort. In another form of the invention the five (5) objects can be manoeuvred and moved to create alternate arrangements where different sequences are created depending on taste, available space and time of the householder. The five (5) geometric objects may be made of rubber, foam rubber, sponge rubber or a similar material. Coverings for the rubber can be made from a wide range of fabrics from cotton and nylon to silk and leather.

To assist with understanding the invention reference will be made to the accompanying drawings which show one example of the invention.

Fig 1 shows one example of Fantasy Furniture according to this invention.

Fig 2 shows the application of Fantasy Furniture.

Referring to Fig 1 it can be seen that the Fantasy Furniture device according to this invention comprises a three dimensional circle (1), square (2), triangle

(3) and oblong(4,5). These objects are constructed with a filling and a covering of whatever material is deemed suitable.

Fig 2 shows Fantasy Furniture in operation. It can be seen that a triangle(8) has been placed alongside a square (7) with two oblong beams (9,10) with a circle (6) at the opposite end of the sequence.

It will be realised that the Fantasy Furniture device according to this invention is not restricted to a single sequential arrangement but any arrangement that uses one or more foundation objects to form a sequence at the creators convienience.
