Abstract:
A fast neutron detection structure, and a method for acquiring a neutron energy spectrum. The fast neutron detection structure comprises seven semiconductor detector units and a conversion layer (8) made of a hydrogen-containing material. The seven semiconductor detector units are, sequentially, a first semiconductor detector unit (1), a second semiconductor detector unit (2), a third semiconductor detector unit (3), a fourth semiconductor detector unit (4), a fifth semiconductor detector unit (5), a sixth semiconductor detector unit (6), and a seventh semiconductor detector unit (7). The first semiconductor detector unit (1), the fourth semiconductor detector unit (4) and the seventh semiconductor detector unit (7) form an anti-coincidence detector group. The second semiconductor detector unit (2) and the third semiconductor detector unit (3) form a neutral particle background detector group. The fifth semiconductor detector unit (5) and the sixth semiconductor detector unit (6) form a recoil proton detector group. The conversion layer (8) is arranged between the fourth semiconductor detector unit (4) and the fifth semiconductor detector unit (5).
