Abstract:
The present invention provides a fastener chain element suitable for forming a curved shape. The fastener chain element is provided with: a body (91) that is fixed to a core (7a), which extends in a long direction along one side edge of a short direction of a tape (7) that extends in the long direction and the short direction; a neck section (92) that protrudes from the body away from the tape in the short direction; a pair of shoulders (94a, 94b) that protrude from both surfaces of the neck section in the long direction; an engaging head section (93) that protrudes from the neck section away from the tape in the short direction; and a pair of grooves (95a, 95b) that are formed on both surfaces of the engaging head section in the long direction. Viewed in the short direction, the pair of shoulders (94a, 94b) and/or the pair of grooves (95a, 95b) is slanted with respect to a reference direction (D), which is the direction in which the core (7a), to which the body (91) is fixed, extends.
