Disclosed is a faucet body. The faucet body comprises a faucet housing (10). The faucet housing is provided with a valve core mounting position (11). An inner cavity of the valve core mounting position communicates with an inner cavity of the faucet housing, and the bottom of the valve core mounting position is provided with a support part (111). The bottom of the valve core mounting position is also provided with a valve core adapter (20), and a valve core is provided in the valve core mounting position. The rear end of the valve core abuts against the valve core adapter, and the valve core adapter presses on the support part for fixation. The valve core adapter is provided with water intake holes (21) and a water outlet hole (22). A water inlet (31) and a water outlet (32) of the valve core communicate with the water intake holes and the water outlet hole respectively, and the side of the valve core adapter facing away from the valve core is provided with water intake pipes (23) and a water outlet pipe (24) which communicate with the water intake holes and the water outlet hole respectively. The faucet body has the advantages of a simple structure, convenient mounting, reliable sealing and low fabrication costs.
