Abstract:
A fault diagnosis method and apparatus for a vehicle speed measuring apparatus. The method comprises: acquiring a first vehicle speed measured by a speed measuring apparatus; acquiring reference information of a static reference object at N moments, wherein N is an integer greater than 1, and the reference information comprises information of a positional relationship of the static reference object relative to a vehicle, in which the speed measuring apparatus is located, at each of the N moments; calculating a second vehicle speed according to the reference information; and determining, according to the first vehicle speed and the second vehicle speed, whether the speed measuring apparatus has a fault. The method does not need to rely on power information of a vehicle itself, and is therefore not limited by the coverage of each type of power information thereof. The method is applied to an intelligent automobile, a connected automobile, a new-energy automobile and an autonomous driving/intelligent driving automobile, and has a wider diagnostic range, such that a fault of a speed measuring apparatus can be diagnosed more accurately.
