Abstract:
A fault prompt method for a refrigerator. The method comprises the following steps: a refrigerator running a fault self-check program; determining whether the refrigerator has a fault; and if so, sending a fault prompt signal by means of a working element on the refrigerator, and if not, exiting a fault self-check prompt mode. By means of the present invention, when a refrigerator has a fault, a fault prompt signal is sent by means of a working element on the refrigerator. The working element is a universal existing working element of the refrigerator, a fault can be prompted without the increase of the cost of the refrigerator caused by additionally adding a structure such as a display screen, and the present invention is friendly to a user and a maintenance person.
