Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fear memory extinction method and a fear memory extinction device using neuromodulation and a user's brain image. The fear memory extinction method analyzes a user's brain image to identify a region of interest in the deep brain which is associated with a fear memory imprinted in the brain by the user's experience, and stimulates the region of interest in the deep brain by means of an electrode, thereby extinguishing a fear memory imprinted in the brain.
