Abstract:
A feed mechanism, comprising a gear shaft (9) provided from front side to rear side, and further comprising a front release structure and a rear release structure respectively provided at the front side and the rear side of the gear shaft (9). The front release structure and the rear release structure are centrally symmetric with respect to each other; the front release structure comprises a gear sleeve (7) fitted over the gear shaft (9); a one-way bearing (3) is fitted over the gear sleeve (7); an outer ring of the one-way bearing (3) is connected to an oscillating bar (4); the oscillating bar (4) may drive the outer ring to rotate; a lower ejector rod (18) capable of moving up and down abuts below the oscillating bar (4). The oscillating bar (4) is pushed by the lower ejector rod (18) to enable the outer ring of the one-way bearing (3) to rotate in a reverse direction, so that the outer ring and an inner ring of the one-way bearing (3) may be tightly engaged instantly, causing the gear sleeve (7) to stop moving or decelerate in one moment, and therefore, an instant speed difference is produced between the gear sleeve (7) and the gear shaft (9), the engagement force between the gear shaft (9) and the gear sleeve (7) disappears, and the gear shaft (9) can easily move forward and backward so as to shift gears. The feed mechanism is applicable to gear shifting of a machine tool.
