Title:
FEED STROKE CHANGING DEVICE FOR TRANSFER FEEDER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1997/020648
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In a transfer feeder installed in a transfer press having a plurality of processing stations in a press body, including a plurality of cross bars arranged spaced from one another in a feed direction and actuated by feed means and lift means in a two-dimensional direction, and serving to suck a work by means of work suction means provided on the cross bars and sequentially transfer the work to the respective processing stations by means of actions of the cross bars, feed stroke changing device for the transfer feeder comprises a pair of lift beams which can be vertically moved by the lift means, a plurality of cross bar carriers provided on the pair of lift beams to be spaced in the feed direction and composed of main carriers and sub-carriers, connection means for connecting the main carriers to each other, a link for connecting the main carrier on an upstream-most side to the feed means, feed stroke changing means provided between the main carriers and sub-carriers for changing feed strokes of the cross bars by changing relative distances between the main carriers and sub-carriers, and control means for controlling the feed stroke changing means. The cross bars are detachably mounted laterally between the sub-carriers facing one another, the feed means enable the cross bars to reciprocate in the feed direction, and the feed stroke changing means changes feed strokes of the cross bars.
