Abstract:
This feeder setup device comprises: a feeder holding unit that holds, at a work execution position, a tape feeder to which a reel having a carrier tape wound thereon is fitted and which feeds the carrier tape to supply a component; a reel removing mechanism for removing the reel from the tape feeder held at the work execution position; and a reel fitting mechanism which is provided separately from the reel removing mechanism and which fits the reel to the tape feeder at the work execution position.
