Abstract:
A female contraceptive appliance consists of a thin rubber (1, 11, 21, 31) and a hitching member (2). The thin rubber (1, 11, 21, 31) has an opened reinforcing portion (1a, 11a, 21a, 31a) and a closed end portion (1b, 11b, 21b, 31b) and the hitching member (2), having numerous hitching portions (3), is fixed to the inside of the closed end portion (1b, 11b, 21b, 31b) of the thin rubber (1, 11, 21, 31).

CLAIMS
1. DESCRIPTION A female contraceptive appliance Technical Field

This invention relates to a female contraceptive appliance and a retraction device of a female contraceptive appliance.

Background Art

While numerous types of the female contraceptive appliance have previously been proposed , there is the problems in the insertion and the retraction, and the female contraceptive appliance does not come into general use.

Disclosure of Invention

The first object of this invention is to provide a female contraceptive appliance which can be retracted easily without a scratch to the vagina.

A female contraceptive appliance according to claim 1 comprises a contraceptive thin rubber having an opened reinforcing portion at one end and a closed end portion at the other end, and a hitching member fixed to the inside of said closed end portion having numerous hitching portions which engage with the retracting member of the retraction device.

A thin rubber fixed with a female contraceptive appliance according to claim 2 comprises a thin rubber having an opened reinforcing portion at one end and a closed end portion at the other end , a female contraceptive appliance fixed to the outside of said thin robber between said reinforcing portion and said closed end portion, and a Hirrhmg member fixed to the inside of said closed tnά portion having numerous hitching portions which engage with the retracting member of the retraction device.

A thin rubber fixed with a pocket in which a female contraceptive appliance can be installed according to claim 3 comprises a thin rubber having an opened reinforcing portion at one end and a closed end portion at the other end, a pocket fixed to the outside of said thin rubber between said reinforcing portion and said closed end portion, and a hitching member fixed to the inside of said closed end portion having numerous hitching portions which engage with the retracting member of the retraction device.

The second object of this mvention is to provide a retraction device which can retract a female contraceptive appliance without a scratch to the vagina.

A retraction device of a female contraceptive appliance according to claim 4 comprises an operating member arranged at one end of the retraction device , a tubular end member arranged at

the other end of the retraction device, and a retracting member which is arranged movably within the inside of the tube of said tubular end member in response to the operation of said operating member.

According to this invention numerous hitching portions are hitched easily in response to the operation of the retraction device and the female contraceptive appliance is easily retracted by the retraction device without a scratch to the vagina.

Best Mode for Carrying out the Invention

Fig.1 shows a sectional views of the first embodiment of a female contraceptive appliance

according to this invention.

A contraceptive thin rubber 1 is formed cylindncally and the cylindrical thin rubber 1 has an opened reinforcing portion la at one end and a closed end portion lb at the other end. A hitching member 2 is fixed to the inside of said closed end portion lb and the hitching member 2 has numerous resilient hitching portions 3 which engage with the retracting member of after mentioned retraction device of a female contraceptive appliance. The retracting member hitches numerous resilient hitching portions 3 easily and the hitching member 2 which is fixed to the inside of the closed end portion lb of the contraceptive thin rubber 1 , is hitched easily by the retracting member without a scratch to the vagina.

Fig.2 shows an enlarged fragmentary cross sectional view of one embodiment of a hitching member 2, and the base sheet 2' possesses numerous resilient loops 3' which engage with the retraαionmember of aftermentiQned retraction device of a female contraceptive appliance.

Fig.3 shows a sectional view of the first embodiment of a thin rubber fixed with a female contraceptive appliance according to this invention and Fig.4 shows a plane view of the thin rubber fixed with a female contraceptive appliance according to Fig .3.

A thin rubber 1 1 is formed cylindrically and the cylindrical thin rubber 11 has an opened reinforcing portion 1 la at one end and a closed end portion 1 lb at the other end. A hitching member 2 is fixed to the inside of said closed end portion lib and the hitching member 2 has numerous resilient hitching portions 3 which engage with the retracting member of after mentioned retraction device of a female contraceptive appliance. A female contraceptive appliance 4 is fixed to the outside of the cylindrical thin rubber 11 between said opened reinforcing portion 1 la and said closed end portion 1 lb. The female contraceptive appliance 4 has an arched contraceptive portion 4a and a foundation portion 4b which is fixed to the outside of the cylindrical thin rubber 11. The retracting member hitches numerous resilient hitching portions 3 easily and the hitching member 2 which is fixed to the inside of the closed end portion 1 lb of the contraceptive thin rubber 11 , is hitched easily by the retracting member without a scratch to the vagina.

Fig.5 shows a sectional view of the second embodiment of a thin rubber fixed with a female contraceptive appliance according to this invention.

A thin rubber 21 is formed cylindrically and the cylindrical thin rubber 21 has an opened reinforcing portion 21a at one end and a closed end portion 21b at the other end. The thinrubber 21 also has reinforcing portions 21c, 21d between said opened reinforcing portion 21a and said closed end portion 21b. A hitching member 2 is fixed to the inside of said closed end portion 21b

and the hitching member 2 has numerous resilient hitching portions 3 which engage with the retracting member of after mentioned retraction device of a female contraceptive appliance. A female contraceptive appliance 4' is fixed to the outside ofthe cylindrical thin rubber 21 between said reinforcing portion 21c and said reinforcing portion 2 Id. The contraceptive appliance 4' has an arched contraceptive portion 4 a and a foundation portion 4'b which is fixed to the outside of the cylindrical thin rubber 21. The retracting member hitches numerous resilient hitching portions 3 easily and the hitching member 2 which is fixed to the inside of the closed end portion 2 lb of the contraceptive thin rubber 21 , is hitched easily by the retracting member without a scratch to the vagina.

Fig.6 shows a sectional view of the fourth embodiment of a thin rubber fixed with a pocket in which a female contraceptive appliance can be installed according to this invention.

A thin rubber 31 is formed cylindrically and the cylindrical thin rubber 31 has an opened reinforcing portion 3 la at one end and a closed end portion 3 lb at the other end. The thin rubber 31 also has reinforcing portions 3 lc, 31d between said opened reinforcing portion 31a and said closed end portion 31b.

A hitching member 2 is fixed to the inside of said closed end portion 31b and the hitching member 2 has numerous resilient hitching portions 3 which engage with the retracting member of after mentioned retraction device of a female contraceptive appliance. A pocket 5 is fixed to the outside of the cylindrical thin rubber 31 between said opened reinforcing portion 31a and said closed end portion 3 lb . and a female contraceptive appliance can be installed in said pocket 5. The retracting member hitches numerous resilient hitching portions 3 easily and the hitching member 2 which is fixed to the inside of the closed end portion 3 lb of the thin rubber 31 , is hitched easily by the retracting member without a scratch to the vagina.

Fig.7 shows a sectional view of the fourth embodiment installing the first female contraceptive appliance and Fig.8 shows a plane view of Fig.7.

The first female contraceptive appliance 6 has an arched contraceptive portion 6a and a foundation portion 6b and the pocket 5 insta 3e foundation portion 6b of the first female contraceptive appliance 6.

Fig .9 shows a sectional view of the fourth embodiment installing the second female contraceptive appliance and Fig.10 shows a plane view of Fig.9.

The third contraceptive appliance 8 of a cotton has a columnar contraceptive portion 8a and a foundation portion 8b and the pocket 5 installs the foundation portion 8b of the third female contraceptiveappiiance8.

Fig.14 shows a partially sectioned plane view of the insertion device of Fig.13.

An insertion device 40 consists of an elongated elastic plate 41 and a thin rubber 42. The elastic plate 41 is bent to the identical direction at one end and the elastic plate 41 has a bending part 41a with a larger interval and a comparative long bending part 41b. A grasping parts 41c, 41d are positioned at the other end αf the elastic plate 41. The elastic plate 41 is enclosed by the elastic thin rubber 42. The elastic thin rubber 42 possesses a small hole 42a and the elastic plate 41 is inserted from the small hole 42a.

The grasping parts 41c, 4 Id of the insertion device 40 grasp the inside of the cylindrical thin rubber (1. 11. 21, 31 ) and the insertion device 40 which is enclosed by the elastic thin rubber 42 , is inserted to the end of the vagina without a scratch to the vagina.

After the completion of the insertion, the bending part 41 a is pushed not to grasp the inside of the cylindrical thin rubber ( 1 , 11. 21 , 31) and the insertion device 40 which is enclosed by the elastic thinrubber42, is extracted without a scratch to the vagina.

Fig.15 shows a partially sectioned view of a retraction device according to this invention and Fig.16 shows a partially sectioned plane view ofthe retraction device of Fig.15.

A retraction device 50 consists of a holder 51 , an elastic plate 52, a cap 53 and an operating members 54. 55. The holder 51 has a cylindrical tube 5 la at one end and a comparative long rectangular tube 51b. The cylindrical tube 51 a has a male screw 51 c and the rectangular tube 51b has two rectangular holes 5 Id. 51e. The elastic plate 52 is bentto the identical direction at one end and the elastic plate 52 has a bending part 52a with a larger interval and a comparative long bending part 52b . and a retracting members 52c , 52d are positioned at the other end of the elastic plate 52. The cap 53 has a female screw 53a and the female screw 53a combines the male screw 51b. The operating members 54, 55 are inserted to the rectangular holes 51d, 51e respectively The cap 53 pushes the elastic plate 52 at one end and the other end of the bending part 52a

4/2 contacts with the end of the cylindrical tube 51 a and the retracting members 52c , 52d are arranged movably within the inside of the end of the rectangular tube 51b in response to the operation of operating members 54, 55.

Accordingly the retracting members 52c. 52d hitch the numerous hitching portions 3 without a scratch to the vagina in response to the operating members 54. 55.

Fig. 17 shows an enlarged fragmentary view of the retracting member 52c and the retracting member 52d. The retracting operation of the retracting device 50 is as follows.

The retracting device 50 is inserted to the vagina to the position to which the retracting members 52c , 52d contact with the hitching member 2. The operating members 54 , 55 are operated after the completion of contact of the retracting members 52c , 52d with the hitching member 2. In response to the operation of the operating members 54. 55, the retracting members 52c, 52d move within the inside of the rectangular tube 51b and the retracting members 52c, 52d hitch the numerous hitching portions 3 of the hitching member 2. After the retracting members 52c. 52d hitch ihe numerous hitching portions 3 , the retracting device 50 is extracted from the vagina and the female contraceptive appliance can be retracted without a scratch to the vagina
