Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a female terminal 10 which, while connected to a male terminal 10, can closely adhere a portion thereof to the male terminal 10 for reliable conduction. [Solution] A connection part 12 of a female terminal 10, which is provided with an electric wire connection part 11 connected to an electric wire 5 and the connection part 12 electrically connected to a flat plate-shaped connection blade 3 on a male terminal to be connected, comprises: a conductive base part 20 including a pair of side walls 21 disposed separated by an insertion space 12X into which the connection blade 3 can be inserted, and a side wall connecting part 22 connecting the side walls 21 together; and a conductive spring member 30 that is disposed between the pair of side walls 21 on the base part 20 and contacts the connection blade 3 inserted into the insertion space 12X such that an urging force is exerted, with one side wall 21 serving as the reaction force, the urging force being exerted toward the other side wall 21. The spring member 30 and the side walls 21 are fixed by a conductive welded part 40 where the spring member 30 and the side walls 21 are welded so as to be conductive.
