Description:

Title: FENCE USING PLANTING ROLL

Technical Field

The present invention relates to a fence using a planting roll, and in particular to a fence using a planting roll in which it is possible to improve a heat island phenomenon occurring owing to the lack of a green area by installing a fence made of a planting material, and the fence looks nice, and an advantageous economical effect is obtained by using a cheap and recyclable material.

Background Art

Many modern cities become complicated and intensified, so more green areas are needed. So, many problems occur. As a representative example of the above problems, a heat island phenomenon occurs owing to an intensified residence owing to many vehicles and heating and cooling facilities. The above warming phenomenon increases as the pavement increases in cities. As heated air rises, a warm air stream is formed in the atmosphere for thereby causing a heat island phenomenon. In summer, the temperature of air does not decrease even at night, and a tropical night phenomenon occurs.

The temperature in the paved region in hot summer even reaches 55 0 C. When the temperature of ground surface in summer is analyzed in a heat map, the temperature in a green-covered area is significantly lower as compared to the paved area, and a temperature difference between day and night is low in the green area. So, it is known that a reflection of sunshine and evaporation operation, which occur with the help of green plants, is able to prevent a heat island phenomenon.

Almost fences, which are installed in the cities, are made of a metallic material or concrete material. So, the above fences are not helpful when improving a heat island phenomenon. Since manufacturing the conventional fence needs complicated processes, it is not economical. Since concrete material is used, recycling the concrete is impossible.

Disclosure of Invention

Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a fence using a planting roll which is able to improve a heat island phenomenon occurring owing to the lack of green areas by installing a fence made of a planting material. The fence looks nice.

It is another object of the present invention to provide a fence using a planting roll which is environment-friendly and is economical by using a cheap and recyclable material. To achieve the above objects, there is provided a fence having a planting roll which comprises a plurality of support members which are vertically installed along an installation position; and a planting roll of which both ends are inserted into the support members, with a fiber material being filled into the interior of the planting roll, with an outer layer of the same being provided in an outer side of the same and surrounding the fiber material.

A reinforcing core material is provided in the interior of the planting roll for preventing a handing-down of the planting roll.

The outer layer is made of a skin of jasmine fruit and is formed in a through lattice structure, so that plant seeds or young plants planted in the fiber material grown through the outer layers to the outside.

The fiber material is made of a palm fruit fiber.

The planting roll is alternately inserted into the support members while forming a certain space.

Brief Description of the Drawings

The present invention will become better understood with reference to the accompanying drawings which are given only by way of illustration and thus are not limitative of the present invention, wherein;

Figure 1 is a view illustrating a state of user of a fence using a planting roll according to the present invention;

Figure 2 is a disassembled perspective view illustrating a fence using a planting roll according to the present invention; and

Figure 3 is a cross sectional view illustrating a fence using a planting roll according to the present invention.

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

Figure 1 is a view illustrating a state of user of a fence using a planting roll according to the present invention. Figure 2 is a disassembled perspective view illustrating a fence using a planting roll according to the present invention. Figure 3 is a cross sectional view illustrating a fence using a planting roll according to the present invention.

The fence 1 using a planting roll according to the present invention comprises a plurality of support members 10 vertically installed along an installation position, and a planting roll 20 of which both ends are inserted into the support member with a fiber material 21 being filled in the interior of the same, with

an outer layer 22 being provided in an outer side of the same while surrounding the fiber member 21.

The support members 10 are vertically installed at regular intervals along an installation position, and a planting roll 20, which will be described later, is inserted into the same and is supported.

The support members 10 are made in straight shapes in order for the planting rolls 20 to be inserted. The support members 10 may be formed in various shapes including a curved shape. The support members 10 are installed at different intervals depending on the sizes of the planting rolls 20. As shown in Figures 1 through 3, the lower sides of the support members 10 are wider, so that they can be stably supported on the ground surface. In addition, the lower sides of the support members 10 may be buried under the ground, and the support members 10 may be made of a wooden material, a metallic material or something. The planting roll 20 is inserted into both ends of the support member 10.

The fiber material 21 is filled in the interior of the planting roll 20, and the outer layer 22 surrounds the fiber material 21.

Various plant seeds and young plants are planted in the planting roll 20 for thereby enlarging the green area of city. The planting rolls 20 are inserted into the positions of the installations of the support members 10 for thereby manufacturing a certain boundary like a fence.

The outer layer 22 of the planting roll 20 is made of the fibers made from the skins of jasmine fruits and is provided with a through lattice so that plant seeds or young plants grow through the same. The fiber material 21 filled in the interior of the outer skin 22 is preferably

made of 100% skins of palm fruits which are decomposable by microorganism and are recyclable. Soil or woven fabric may be additionally added depending on the kinds of the seeds or young plants.

A reinforcing core material 24 is provided into the interior of the planting roll 20 formed of the fiber material 21 and the outer layer 22. The reinforcing core material 24 is provided for preventing a handing-down owing to the weight of the entire construction or wetting.

The reinforcing core material 24 is preferably made of a wooden material, so that it is decomposable along with the planting roll 20 or is recyclable. An insertion hole 24a is formed at both sides of the reinforcing core material 24, respectively, so that the support members 10 pass through the same.

In case of the planting roll 20, the support members 10 may be directly planted depending on the physical characteristics of the outer layer 22 and the fiber material 21 , but the through holes 23 communicating with the insertion holes 24a may be formed, so that the support member 10 can be installed while being inserted into the through hole 23 and the insertion hole 24a.

The planting roll 20 may be inserted in various shapes. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the planting rolls 20 may be alternately inserted into the support members 10 while forming a space 30. Both ends of one planting roll 20 are inserted into two neighboring support members 10, and both ends of the other planting roll 20 are inserted into one between two support members 10 and the other one between the same. In addition, both ends of another planting roll 20 are inserted into the other one between two support members 10 and are inserted into the other support member 10, respectively.

The installation method of the fence 1 using a planting roll according to the present invention will be described.

A plurality of the support members 10 are vertically planted along the position to be sectioned as a boundary. At this time, the support members 10 may be directly planted into the ground surface or may be buried under the ground.

When the installations of the support members 10 are finished, the planting rolls 20 with seeds or young plants therein are inserted into the support members 10. When the through holes 23 are formed in the support members 10, the support members 10 are inserted into the through holes 23 and the insertion holes 24a. When the through holes 23 are not formed in the support members 10, the planting rolls 20 are passed through so that the support members 10 are inserted into the insertion holes 24a.

In case of plants which grow in the planting roll 20, the kinds of plant seeds or young plant may be changed every year. Since various kinds and different colors of plants are planted, it is possible to enhance the outer appearance of the city.

When the fence 2 having a planting roll is installed as a fence structure, only the planting roll 20 may be separated and installed in a surrounding area of a lake or a river for thereby obtaining an impact absorption effect, a water purification effect and water reserving function.

Industrial Applicability

As described above, in the fence having a planting roll, it is possible to improve a heat island phenomenon occurring owing to the lack of a green area by installing a fence made of a planting material, and the fence looks nice. As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without
