Abstract:
This ferrite-based stainless steel material has a compositional makeup including, in mass basis, 0.001-0.100% of C, not more than 5.00% of Si, not more than 2.00% of Mn, not more than 0.050% of P, not more than 0.0300% of S, less than 2.00% of Ni, 11.00-30.00% of Cr, not more than 6.00% of Mo, not more than 0.60% of Cu, not more than 0.050% of N, and not more than 3.500% of Al, the remaining portion being Fe and impurities, and has excellent corrosion resistance. The surface of the ferrite-based stainless steel material has an arithmetic mean roughness Ra of 0.10-3.00 μm and a 60-degree specular gloss Gs (60°) of 10-100%.
