Abstract:
[Problem] To suppress optical feedback toward optical fibers which is caused by the reflection of an optical signal on the lens surface of a lens connector. [Solution] A ferrule for holding an optical fiber end section, the ferrule being characterized: by having an abutting surface for abutting the optical fiber end surface and a lens part positioned so as to correspond to the optical fiber end surface; and in that the abutting surface is angled relative to a surface perpendicular to the optical axis of the optical fibers, and the optical axis of the lens part is angled relative to the optical axis of the optical fibers.
