Abstract:
The present invention provides a fetal well-being assessment device (10) and a control method thereof, the device comprising: a pad module (2) including a fetal sensor unit (110) for sensing a fetal state and a fetal communication unit (120) for transmitting a fetal detection state signal of the fetal sensor unit (110) to the outside, the pad module being capable of being worn on a mother's abdomen; and a fetal state assessment module (100) including a communication unit (210) for communicating with the fetal communication unit (120) to receive the fetal detection state signal and a control unit (220) configured to calculate a fetal well-being index for checking whether or not the fetus is in good condition through a calculation process by a calculation unit (240) using the fetal detection state signal transmitted from the communication unit (210) and a preset data stored in a storage unit (230), assess the fetal well-being, and output the same through an output unit (250).
