Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fiber made from quenched slag resulting from smelting reduction, and to a method for manufacturing same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a fiber made from quenched slag resulting from smelting reduction manufactured by dropping melted slag resulting from smelting reduction using a tapping tundish, and quenching the melted slag resulting from smelting reduction by injecting high-pressure gas into the dropped and melted slag resulting from smelting reduction using an atomizer (AP) nozzle while finely separating the slag into the shape of a fiber, as well as to a method for manufacturing same.
