Abstract:
A fiber preform (12) comprises: a first fiber tow provided in a first region on a substrate; a second fiber tow which is sewn using a water-insoluble fixing yarn and is provided in a second region other than the first region; and a fixing member provided over the first fiber tow to fix a portion of the first fiber tow to the substrate. The fixing member is a third fiber tow sewn onto the substrate using a water-insoluble fixing yarn, or an adhesive or elastic adhesive. The relative positions of the first fiber tows can be changed with each other, and the position of the first region relative to the second region can be changed.
