Abstract:
Disclosed is a fiber-reinforced resin composition which contains: a molten mixture (A) that is obtained by melting and kneading a first resin (A1) and a second resin (A2) having a reactive functional group; a third resin (B); and a fibrous filler (C). The fibrous filler (C) is contained in an amount of 0.1-300 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the resin composition which is composed of 0.1-75% by weight of the first resin (A1), 0.1-15% by weight of the second resin (A2) having a reactive functional group, and 10-99.8% by weight of the third resin (B). The first resin (A1) and the third resin (B) form a matrix resin, and the second resin (A2) is dispersed in the form of particles in the matrix resin. The number average particle diameter of the particles is 10-1000 nm. Consequently, the fiber-reinforced resin composition has an excellent balance between rigidity and impact resistance. Also disclosed are a molding material, and a method for producing the fiber-reinforced resin composition.
