Abstract:
The present invention provides a fiber for rubber reinforcement and a rubber-fiber composite with which it is possible to improve adhesiveness between the rubber and fiber and thereby further increase durability over a conventional one when used as a reinforcing material, and a pneumatic tire using same. A fiber for rubber reinforcement comprising a core-sheath-type conjugate fiber in which the core part comprises a high melting point resin (A) of 150℃ or higher in melting point, and the sheath part comprises a resin material (B) having a melting point lower than that of the high melting point resin (A). The resin material (B) contains an olefin random copolymer (C) and/or an olefin homopolymer or an olefin copolymer (D) (except (C)) and a styrene elastomer (E) including a continuously arranged single molecular chain of mainly a styrene monomer.
